Autograph letter signed, dated : Winterthur, 3 December 1856, to Bartholf Senff, 1856 Dec. 3.

Saying it has been some time since Senff received a manuscript from Eschmann that he liked, and sending some new works he hopes Senff will like: piano pieces that can be played with small hands and that could thus serve as counterparts to Stephen Heller's so widely circulated etudes; "Die Lieder mögen für sich selbst sprechen!"
